REẖOVOT, IL / ACCESS Newswire / July 24, 2025 / Get SAT, a leading provider of satellite communication terminals, together with its local partner Rangsons, has been awarded a multi-million-dollar contract to supply over 100 Micro SAT terminals for a Major Defense Program in South Asia.

The program includes the delivery of Get SAT’s Micro SAT– a compact, ruggedized SATCOM-on-the-move terminal engineered for mobile platforms. Measuring just 28 x 25 x 7.5 cm and weighing 8 kg, the Micro SAT is among the smallest all-in-one terminals in its class. The terminals serve as the critical communications backbone for MoD operations in mobile and remote environments.

Integrated with India’s GSAT military satellite constellation operated by ISRO, the solution ensures secure, high-throughput connectivity meeting customer requirements and supporting real-time communication in the most challenging conditions.

More than half of the ordered units have already been delivered, with a portion already installed and operational in the field.

As part of the program, manufacturing and integration are carried out in India, aligning with the “Make in India” initiative and advancing indigenous defense capabilities. Rangsons, a long-established Indian partner in the defense and aerospace sectors, leads the effort.

“We are proud to work alongside Get SAT in delivering these advanced systems,” said Anuradha Vridhagiri, SR VP at Rangsons. “Beyond manufacturing, our team provides full lifecycle support – from integration and field deployment to ongoing service and sustainment. This program reflects our continued commitment to delivering high-quality, locally supported solutions to strategic defense customers.”

“This award marks a significant milestone in our continued expansion in Asia and strengthens our long-standing partnership with Rangsons,” said Kfir Benjamin, CEO of Get SAT. “We are proud to support defense modernization efforts in the region with agile, high-performance SATCOM solutions-manufactured locally and built for mission-critical reliability.”
